aperture card
This is a microform consisting of a roll of film cut into one or several pieces and attached to an aperture portion of an information exchange paper card (IBM punched card: dimensions 187.32 x 82.55 mm) with the aperture (rectangular window for holding micro-images), or a microform in which the aperture portion is kept as a transparent bag and micro-images are inserted into the aperture.
They are mainly used for the management of drawings.
