distributed storage
Storage of information/data in multiple locations.
Storing information/data separately in multiple locations increases safety because even if something happens to one location, it is unlikely that multiple locations will be damaged at the same time.
In the case of electronic data, it is recommended that copies of the data should be created, and stored in multiple remote locations in a distributed manner from the perspective of business continuity, since the data can be easily recovered from the undamaged data.
