Time information that can confirm that document information existed at a given time.

By adding this time information when a document is created or obtained, it is possible to detect as to whether or not unintended alterations have been made since the time of creation or obtainment.

As for documents related to national taxes, it is required to be a time certificate issued by a time-stamping authority accredited by the Japan Data Communications Association.
